Power Steering ECU

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove instrument panel undercover. DO NOT disconnect ECU connector. Start engine. Using DVOM, measure voltage between ECU harness connector terminals SOL (-) and ground with engine idling. See Figure. DVOM should indicate .33-.43 volt.
  2. Place transmission in gear. Increase indicated vehicle speed to 37 MPH. DVOM should now indicate .13-.26 volt. If voltage is not as specified, replace ECU.
