Continuity Test

Disconnect combination switch connectors. Check for continuity between specified terminals. See Fig 1. See appropriate WIPER/WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY  table. If there is no continuity, replace switch. If there is continuity, apply battery voltage across terminals B16 and B18. Check continuity between terminals B7 and B18. If there is continuity, switch is okay. If there is no continuity, replace switch.

Mist OFF (1) B8 & B17
Mist ON (2) A14 & B8
Wiper INT
Mist OFF (1) B8 & B17
Mist ON (2) A14 & B8
Wiper LOW A14 & B8
Wiper HIGH
Mist OFF (1) A7 & A14
Mist ON (2) A7, A14 & B8
Washer
OFF (3)*
ON A6 & A13
(1) Lever in normal position.
(2) Pull lever toward you.
(3) No continuity between terminals A6 and A13.
