Key Unlock Warning Switch Circuit

Disconnect key unlock warning switch connector. Check continuity between switch wiring terminals. Continuity should exist with key in ignition switch. Continuity should not exist with key out of ignition switch. If continuity is not as specified, replace key unlock warning switch. If continuity is okay, check wiring between ECU and key unlock warning switch. Repair as needed. If wiring is okay, check ECU. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS . If found to be defective, replace ECU and retest system.
