Diode Assembly

- With diode (rectifier) assembly on bench, connect ohmmeter positive lead to positive (+) terminal and negative lead to each rectifier terminal individually. See Fig 1. Reverse ohmmeter leads and check again. Continuity should exist in only one direction.
- Connect ohmmeter positive lead to each rectifier terminal and negative lead to each negative (-) terminal individually. Reverse ohmmeter leads and check again. Continuity should exist in only one direction. If continuity is not as specified, replace diode assembly.
