Variable Valve Timing (GS400, LS400 & SC400)

The Variable Valve Timing (VVT) sensor is a camshaft position sensor and is mounted at center of both camshafts. The VVT sensor consists of a signal plate and pickup coil. The signal plate has one tooth and is mounted on intake camshafts. The VVT sensor provides feedback to ECM in order to control intake valve timing.
