System Operation Check

Turn ignition switch to ON position (with engine off). Air bag indicator light should come on for about 5 seconds and then go out. If SRS warning light does not illuminate, or illuminates and does not go out, service SRS. If SRS warning light comes on for about 5 seconds, then starts flashing, a fault code is set in memory.
