DTC 22: Compressor Lock Sensor Circuit: Notes

Compressor lock sensor sends one pulse signal for each engine revolution to A/C control assembly. If compressor speed, divided by engine speed is less than a predetermined value, A/C control assembly will turn compressor off and cause indicator to flash in one second intervals. DTC will set when engine speed is 450 RPM or more and ratio between engine and compressor speed deviates 20 percent or more from normal operation for 3 seconds or more.
