Ignition Switch Power Source Circuit (Body No. 5 Ecu)

  1. Check MPX-IG fuse and D-IG1 relay located in driver-side junction block. Replace fuse or relay as necessary. If fuse and relay are okay, turn ignition on. Measure voltage between body No. 5 ECU connector terminals No. 30 and 25. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS . If 10-14 volts are not present, go to next step. If 10-14 volts are present, go to next test listed in BODY NO. 5 CONTROL SYSTEM  table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
  2. Check wiring and connectors between body No. 5 ECU and ground. Repair circuit as necessary. If wiring is okay, check wiring and connectors between body No. 5 ECU and battery. Repair circuit as necessary.
