Disarmed State
- Ensure ignition key is not inserted into ignition switch. To enter system into disarmed state, go to next step. To enter system into arming preparation, close all doors, engine hood and luggage compartment door (trunk lid) then perform one of the following:
- Lock all doors with key.
- Lock all doors using remote keyless entry system.
- With all doors, engine hood and luggage compartment locked, open and close any door, engine hood or luggage compartment door, then close and lock all doors, engine hood and luggage compartment door.
- To enter system into disarmed state, unlock any door. Open any door or engine hood. Insert key into ignition switch. Reconnect battery. Turn ignition from OFF to ON position.
