Power Source Circuit

Ensure ignition is off. Check MPX-BI, SECURITY, MPX-IG and DACC fuses. Replace as necessary. If fuses are okay, disconnect theft deterrent ECU connector. Measure voltage between connector terminals No. 1 (Violet/Yellow wire), No. 21 (Green/White wire) and No. 20 (White/Black wire). See Fig 1. Voltage should be 10-14 volts. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between theft deterrent ECU connector terminals No. 31 (Gray wire), No. 24 (Red/Blue wire) and No. 20 (White/Black wire). Voltage should be 10-14 volts. If voltages are to specification, go to next test shown in appropriate SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS table. If voltages are not to specification, go to next step.
