Inspection Procedure

Check light control switch using LEXUS hand-held tester.

PREPARATION: Connect the LEXUS hand-held tester to the DLC3.

CHECK: Check the light control switch. See LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH DATA LIST , FOG LIGHT SWITCH DATA LIST , HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH DATA LIST , and TURN SIGNAL & HAZARD WARNING SWITCH DATA LIST tables.

OK:

OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptom table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES ).
NG: Replace combination switch (See INSTRUMENT PANEL - LS 430 article).
