Locking/Unlocking Operation: Unlocking

When you push the UNLOCK button, the driver's door is unlocked. Pushing that button once again within 3 seconds from the first push, all other doors are also unlocked (the 2-step unlocking function can be changed). At this time, 2 beeps sound and the turn signal lights flash twice. Together with the activation of unlocking, the interior light comes on for 15 seconds if the interior light switch is in DOOR position (the duration of lighting can be changed). You have 30 seconds to open a door after using the wireless remote unlock feature (the time before the automatic relocking can be changed). If a door is not opened by then, all the doors will be automatically locked again. Even if the LOCK or UNLOCK button is kept pressed in, the locking or unlocking operation is not repeated. Release the button and then push again.

When you push any button on the key, the vehicle sounds 1 beep when the doors are locked by remote control and sounds 2 beeps when the doors are unlocked. You can adjust the beep loudness with the knob under the instrument panel. Turning the knob clockwise increases the volume and turning it counterclockwise until it stops and turns the buzzer off.
