Inside Rear View Mirror Inspection

Inspect the electro chromic inside rear view mirror operation.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal No. 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal No. 2. See Fig 1.
- Attach a black colored tape to the forward sensor to prevent if from sensing.
- Light up the mirror with an electric light and check that the mirror surface changes from bright to dark.
If operation is not as specified, replace the inside rear view mirror. See INSIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
