Diagnosis & Testing: Pre-Check

  1. Release parking brake pedal.
  2. When ignition switch is turned to ON, check that ABS warning light and BRAKE warning light illuminate for 3 seconds. When parking brake is applied or level of brake fluid is low, BRAKE warning light is illuminated.
  3. If indicator check result is not normal, see appropriate test under SYMPTOM TESTING .
