Standard Procedure - Setting Transmitter Codes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Turn off the engine.
  2. Erase the codes by pressing the two outside buttons labeled with one (.) and three (...) dots. Release the buttons when the display confirms the operation (about 20 seconds).
  3. Choose one of the three buttons to train. Place the hand-held transmitter within one inch of the universal transmitter and push the buttons on both transmitters.
  4. Release both buttons. Your universal transmitter is now "trained". To train the other buttons, repeat Step  3 and Step 4. Be sure to keep your handheld transmitter in case you need to retrain the universal transmitter.
