Ignition Switch

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the instrument panel sub assembly. See Fig 1.
    1. Disconnect the hood lock control cable.
    2. NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip, before use.
    3. Using a screwdriver, open the instrument panel sub assembly upper cover.
    4. Remove the bolt and 2 screws. See Fig 1.
    5. Disengage the 3 clips. See Fig 1.
    6. Disconnect the connectors and remove the instrument panel sub assembly upper.
  3. Remove ignition switch.
    1. Disconnect the ignition switch connector and unlock switch connector.
    2. Remove clamp.
    3. Remove the 2 screws and ignition switch.
