Power Window Motor (Front)

  1. Inspect the power window motor operation.
  2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal No. 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal No. 2, and check that the motor turns clockwise. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION .
  3. Reverse the polarity and check that the motor turns counterclockwise.
  4. If operation is not as specified, replace the motor. See FRONT DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR  under COMPONENT TESTS.
