Removal & Installation: Starter
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove starter wiring nut and disconnect starter wiring.
- Disconnect starter connector.
- Remove starter bolts and remove starter.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten starter bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . When installing upper mounting bolt, ensure it is installed with clamp bracket. See Fig 1.
