Brake Actuator: Notes
NOTE:
Do not keep motor relay ON for more than 5 seconds continuously. When operating continuously, leave off more than 20 seconds. Never turn ON a solenoid which is not described. Refer to the LEXUS hand-held tester operator's manual for further details.
- Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3. See Figure.
- Start the engine and run it at idle. Select the ACTIVE TEST mode on the hand-held tester.
- Test actuator motor operation. See ACTUATOR MOTOR OPERATION .
- Test wheel solenoid operation. See WHEEL SOLENOID OPERATION .
- Clear DTC. See CLEARING CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
