Combination Meter: Inspection

LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT ASSY
1. Inspect continuity.
  1. Check the continuity between the connector terminals when operating the rheostat volume knob.

2. Check resistance.
  1. Check the resistance between terminals 4 (RV) and 3 (T) when operating the rheostat volume knob. Also, check that the resistance change continuously.
  1. Standard resistance:
  2. Turn the knob to maximum - Approx. 10 kΩ
  3. Turn the knob to minimum - Approx. 0 kΩ
