Front Suspension: Description
NOTE:
On vehicles equipped with electronic modulated air suspension system, turn ignition off when jacking up vehicle. If a vehicle is jacked up with ignition switch on, jumper between terminals Ts and CG of Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) with Special Tool (09843-18040). See Fig 1. Remove all items under vehicle before lowering. Vehicle will be extremely low after air in pneumatic cylinder escapes. When ignition switch is turned on, (engine running), vehicle height is automatically adjusted to normal condition.
Front suspension utilizes a double wishbone type suspension. In addition to standard coil spring suspension, an electronically modulated air suspension which uses compressed air to act as a spring is optional equipment.
