Inspection Procedure

Remove the wireless door lock ECU from the No. 1 instrument panel brace behind the lower No. 1 panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in INSTRUMENT PANEL article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Measure the voltage between terminals No. 11 (LSWD), 12 (LSWP) and 6 (LSWR) of the wireless door lock ECU connector and body ground, when the respective door lock knobs are pushed to the lock side. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . If the voltage is between 10-14 volts, proceed to the next circuit inspection of the problem symptom. See PROBLEM SYMPTOM INDEX  table. If the voltage is not as specified, check and repair faulty the harness and connector between the wireless door lock ECU and door unlock detection switch.
