Inspection Procedure

Remove the wireless door lock ECU from the No. 1 instrument panel brace behind the lower No. 1 panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in INSTRUMENT PANEL article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Measure the voltage between terminal No. 10 (KSW) of the wireless door lock ECU connector and body ground, when the key plate is not inserted in the key cylinder. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . If voltage is between 10-14 volts, proceed to the next circuit inspection of the problem symptom. See PROBLEM SYMPTOM INDEX  table. If voltage is not as specified, check and repair the faulty harness and connector between the wireless door lock ECU and door key unlock warning switch.
