Test H: After Ignition Switch Has Been Turned To Off By Using A Key, Power Window Function Does Not Operate
- Check if the driver's courtesy light switch is normal. If the operation is normal, go to the next step. If the operation is not good, replace the driver's courtesy light switch.
- Remove the instrument ECU and disconnect the connector.
- With the driver's door open, check if continuity exists between terminal No. 14 of instrument ECU vehicle side connector and body ground. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . If there is continuity, go to the next step. If there is not continuity, the wiring harness between terminal No. 14 of the instrument ECU and driver's courtesy light switch is defective.
- Connect the connectors of the instrument ECU.
- With the driver's door open, when turning the ignition switch from ON to OFF, check if there is voltage of 10-14 volts between terminal No. 6 of the instrument ECU and body ground. If there is voltage, the wiring harness between terminal No. 6 of the instrument ECU and terminal No. 1 of the power main relay is defective. If there is not voltage, the instrument ECU is defective.
