Without Hand-Held Tester

  1. Using special tool (09843-18020 or 18040), jumper between terminals Tc and E1 of (DLC1) or Tc and CG of (DLC3). See Figure.
  2. Turn ignition switch on. Depress brake pedal 8 or more times within 5 seconds.
  3. Check that warning light shows the normal code. See Figure. Remove special tool from (DLC3).
