See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . See INSPECTING COMBINATION METER GAUGES & METERS RESISTANCE table. If resistance is not as specified, replace the combination meter. See INSTRUMENT PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
CAUTION:
Reversing the connection of the tachometer will damage the transistors and diodes inside. When removing or installing the tachometer, be careful not to drop or subject it to heavy shocks.
