Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK OPERATION OF OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR RH 
    1. Check that the passenger's outer mirror operates normally.
    1. NG: FLOW CHART 3 or 4 (See  BOTH OF DRIVER AND PASSENGER POWER MIRRORS CANNOT BE ADJUSTED MANUALLY (FLOW CHART 3)   or  EITHER OF DRIVER OR PASSENGER POWER MIRROR CANNOT BE ADJUSTED MANUALLY (FLOW CHART 4)  
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK OPERATION OF SHIFT INDICATOR 
    1. Check that the shift indicator in the meter operates normally.
    1. NG: GO TO COMBINATION METER SYSTEM (See  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING  ) 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. FUNCTION CHECK 
    1. Check that the memory of the outer rear view mirror functions normally.
    NOTE:
    • If the driver's side malfunction, proceed to "OK-A"
    • If the passenger's side malfunction, proceed to "OK-B"
    1. OK-A: CHECK AND REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH 
    2. OK-B: CHECK AND REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT RH 
    3. NG: FLOW CHART 5 (See  MIRROR FACING DIRECTION IS NOT MEMORIZED (FLOW CHART 5)  )
