Inspection Procedure
- USE LEXUS HAND-HELD TESTER
- NO: GO TO STEP 4
- YES: GO TO NEXT STEP
- READ VALUE OF LEXUS HAND-HELD TESTER(DRIVER'S DOOR ECU)
- Monitor Code:
- Inspect the monitor code of the driver door ECU.
NOTE:- Monitor code shows the switch condition when a DTC is output.
- In case of that a code is indicated when the switch is not operated, it is detected that the switch is stuck.
In case of that a code is not indicated when the switch is operated, it is detected that the switch contact condition is bad.

- Data Monitor:
- Perform a data monitor of the door ECU.
Standard:
Door ECU (passenger's side) (switch condition)

- OK: GO TO FLOW CHART (See WINDOWS CANNOT BE OPERATED VIA REGULATOR SWITCH IN EACH SEAT )
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- Data Monitor:
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY
- Continuity check of the power window switch.
- Check the continuity of each terminal of the connector, when each switch is operated.
Standard:

- NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- Continuity check of the power window switch.
- INSPECT WIRE HARNESS
- Check the continuity of the wire harness between the power window regulator switch and the passenger door ECU.
- Disconnect the power window regulator switch connector and the passenger door ECU connector P9.
- Check the continuity of the vehicle's side wire harness between the regulator switch and the passenger door ECU.

- OK-A: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT RH
- OK-B: GO TO FLOW CHART (See WINDOWS CANNOT BE OPERATED VIA REGULATOR SWITCH IN EACH SEAT )
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- Check the continuity of the wire harness between the power window regulator switch and the passenger door ECU.
