Manual Close Operation
- REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY
- Pull up the front portion of the seat cushion assembly, then remove it.
NOTE: In the case, hold the base of the clip up to prevent the cushion frame from being distorted. - REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER
- Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat headrest plate cover.
NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Use the same manner described above to the other side.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat headrest plate cover.
- REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSY
- Remove the 4 bolts and wind deflector board assembly.
- REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE
- Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat headrest plate.NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Use the same manner described above to the other side.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat headrest plate.
- REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSY
- Remove the 2 nuts and rear seat headrest assembly.
- Use the same manner described above to the other side.
- REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSY
- Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and rear seat back assembly.
- REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSY RH
- Using a screwdriver, remove the door scuff plate assy RH as shown in the illustration.
NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use. - REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSY FRONT RH
- Using a screwdriver, release the 4 claws and remove the front seat outer belt garnish.NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Remove the 6 screws and clip.
- Disengage the 4 clips, then remove the quarter trim panel RH.
- Using a screwdriver, release the 4 claws and remove the front seat outer belt garnish.
- MANUALLY CLOSE QUARTER WINDOW ASSY RH
- Remove the connector of the power window regulator motor RH.
- Connecting the battery positive terminal to terminal 1 t the connector, and the negative one to terminal 2, raise the quarter window assy.
NOTE: For the LH side, connect the battery positive terminal to terminal 2 and the negative one to terminal 1. - INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSY FRONT RH
- INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSY RH
- INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSY (See
OVERHAUL
)
Torque:
Bolt: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
Nut: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 63 in.lbf)
