Pressure Sensor: Removal

  1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 

    HINT:

    At the time of installation, please refer to the following item. Evacuate air from refrigeration system. Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrigerant.

    Specified Amount: 

    Single A/C: 650 +/-50g (22.93+/-1.76oz) 

    Dual A/C: 900+/-50g (31.74+/-1.76oz) 

  2. REMOVE PRESSURE SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the pressure switch from the liquid tube.

    Torque: 10 N.m (100kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    HINT:

    • Lock the switch mount on the tube with an open end wrench, being careful not to deform the tube, and remove the switch.
    • At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.

    Lubricate a new O-ring with compressor oil and install them to the switch.
