Inspection Procedure

- READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER
- Connect the hand-held tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON and press the hand-held tester main switch ON.
- Select the items below in the DATA LIST and read the displays on the hand-held tester.
Door ECU (Driver side, Passenger side, Rear LH, Rear RH):
OK:
"ON" (sensor is touched) appears on the screen.
NG: Go to step 2
OK: Go to next step
PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR OSCILLATOR - DOOR ECU) (DOOR OSCILLATOR OR DOOR ECU - BODY GROUND)

- Disconnect the D25, F17, R12 and R15 door ECU connectors.
- Disconnect the D34, D35, D36 and D37 door oscillator connectors.
- Measure the resistance between the wire harness side connectors.
Standard:
Driver side
Passenger side
Rear LH
Rear RH
NG: REPLACE OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT DOOR OSCILLATOR
- Measure the volt (1 age between wire harness side connectors.
Standard:
Driver side
Passenger side
Rear LH
Rear RH
NG: REPLACE DOOR OSCILLATOR
PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- Measure the volt (1 age between wire harness side connectors.
