Inspection Procedure

  1. READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER 
    1. Connect the hand-held tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON and press the hand-held tester main switch ON.
    3. Select the items below in the DATA LIST and read the displays on the hand-held tester.

      Door ECU (Driver side, Passenger side, Rear LH, Rear RH):

    OK: 

    "ON" (sensor is touched) appears on the screen. 

    NG: Go to step 2 

    OK: Go to next step 

    PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR OSCILLATOR - DOOR ECU) (DOOR OSCILLATOR OR DOOR ECU - BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the D25, F17, R12 and R15 door ECU connectors.
    2. Disconnect the D34, D35, D36 and D37 door oscillator connectors.
    3. Measure the resistance between the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      Driver side

      Passenger side

      Rear LH

      Rear RH

    NG: REPLACE OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. INSPECT DOOR OSCILLATOR 
    1. Measure the volt (1 age between wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      Driver side

      Passenger side

    NG: REPLACE DOOR OSCILLATOR 

    PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
