  4. INSPECT SEPARATE SEAT TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD
    1. Check that continuity exists between the terminal when pressing the sensing part of seat cushion.
  5. INSPECT LEVEL WARNING SWITCH ASSY
    1. Check washer level warning switch continuity.
    2. Check that no continuity exists between terminals with switch OFF (float up).
    3. Check that continuity exists between terminals with switch OFF (float down).
  6. INSPECT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR SUB-ASSY
    1. Check brake fluid warning switch continuity.
      1. Check that no continuity exists between terminals with switch OFF (float up).
      2. Check that continuity exists between terminals with switch OFF (float down).
  7. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSY
    1. Check parking brake switch continuity.
      1. Check that continuity exists between terminal and switch body with the switch ON (switch pin released).
      2. Check that no continuity exists between terminal and switch body with the switch OFF (switch pin pushed in).
  8. INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT
    1. Check continuity between terminal 1 and 2 of light control rheostat when light control rheostat operation as shown in the Fig 8 .

    2. Check light control rheostat resistance.
      1. Measure the resistance between terminal 1 and 3 of light control rheostat.

        Standard resistance: Approx. 10 kΩ

      2. Measure the resistance between terminal 1 and 4 of light control rheostat when operating the light control rheostat. Check that the resistance value changes continuously.

        Standard resistance:

When turned fully clockwise: Approx. 10 kΩ

When turned fully counterclockwise: Approx. 0 kΩ
