Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the jam protection pulse switch. See JAM PROTECTION PULSE SWITCH (FRONT)  under COMPONENT TESTS. If the results are OK, go to the next step. If the results are not good, replace the power window motor. See FRONT DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR  under COMPONENT TESTS.
  2. Check the wire harness and connector between jam protection pulse switch and the appropriate door ECU (driver or passenger). If the results are OK, check the appropriate door ECU (driver or passenger). If the results are not good, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.
