Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK FUSE 
    1. Check whether PWR-SEAT fuse, ECU-B fuse and ECU-IG fuse operate normally.
    1. NG : REPLACE FUSE 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the M6 and M7 position control ECU connectors.
    2. Check the connector on the wire harness side, as shown in the illustration and table.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL NO AND CONDITION CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Condition Specified condition
      +B <==> Body ground (M6-10 <==> Body ground) Constant 10 - 14 V
      SYSB <==> Body ground (M7-24 <==> Body ground) Constant 10 - 14 V
      IG <==> Body ground (M7-12 <==> Body ground) IG SW OFF --> ON 0 V --> 10 - 14 V

      HINT:

      If circuit is not as specified, check the circuits connected to other parts.

    1. NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. NG : CHECK AND REPLACE POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSY (See  ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE  )
