Speed Sensor Front: Replacement

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
- REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH
- REMOVE SPEED SENSOR FRONT LH
- Disconnect the speed sensor connector and clamp.
- Remove the 2 clamp bolts and disconnect the speed sensor harness from the body and shock absorber.
- Remove the bolt and the speed sensor front LH.NOTE: Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the sensor tip.
- INSTALL SPEED SENSOR FRONT LH
- Install the speed sensor front LH with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
NOTE: Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the sensor tip. - Install the sensor harness clamps with the 2 bolts "A" and "B" to the body and shock absorber.
Torque:
- Bolt A: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)
- Bolt B: 19 N.m (192 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf)
- Connect the clamp to the knuckle.
- Connect the speed sensor connector and clamp.
- Install the speed sensor front LH with the bolt.
- INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH
- INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf)
- CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (SEE OPERATION CHECK or OPERATION CHECK )
