YAWRATE Sensor: Replacement

NOTE:

Do not use the yawrate sensor if it is dropped or damaged.
Prevent foreign matter from attaching between the yawrate sensor bracket and body
Confirm the sensor direction is correct.

REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSY (SEE REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSY REAR (SEE REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE YAWRATE SENSOR
1. Disconnect the yawrate sensor connector.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and yawrate sensor.

INSTALL YAWRATE SENSOR
1. Install the yawrate sensor with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 13 N.m (127 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf)

2. Connect the yawrate sensor connector.
INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSY REAR
INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSY
PERFORM YAWRATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (SEE CALIBRATION )
INSPECT ABS WARNING LIGHT AND VSC WARNING LIGHT (SEE OPERATION CHECK
