Circuit Description & Possible Causes

Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is a thermistor which monitors engine coolant temperature. DTC is set when ECT sensor signal value is out of range during engine operation. Possible causes are:
- Defective ECT sensor.
- Defective cooling system.
