Section 167 (Anti-Theft Systems): Programming: Operation

Anti-theft system has 4 conditions:
- Disarming Condition
This is when a user is near the vehicle, alarming function does not operate and theft deterrent function is not active. - Disarming Preparation Condition
This is the time from when a user locks a door and exits the vehicle, time until transfer to disarm condition and theft deterrent function is not active. - Arming Condition
This is when a user exits the vehicle and theft deterrent function is possible. If any door is unlocked without the key in the ignition switch while the system is in the arming condition, the system will activate the alarm condition. - Alarming Condition
This is when theft has been detected and system activates horns and theft deterrent horn and flashes the headlights, taillights and interior lights for about 1 minute at a continuous cycle of 0.40 seconds ON and 0.40 seconds OFF.
