Driving Position Memory Switch

Turn ignition off and disconnect driving position memory switch 4-pin electrical harness connector. Remove driving position memory switch. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity of driving position memory switch terminals. See Fig 1. See DRIVING POSITION MEMORY SWITCH CONTINUITY  table. If continuity is not as specified, replace driving position memory switch. See DRIVING POSITION MEMORY SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.

Switch Position Continuity Should Exist Between Terminal Nos.
SET Button Depressed 1 & 2
Position 1 Button Depressed 2 & 3
Position 2 Button Depressed 2 & 4
