Test No. 7: Lumbar Support Function Does Not Operate

  1. Check lumbar support switch. See LUMBAR SUPPORT SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. If lumbar support switch is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check lumbar support motor. See LUMBAR SUPPORT MOTOR  under COMPONENT TESTS. If lumbar support motor is okay, go to next step.
  3. Check wiring harness and connectors between lumbar support switch and lumbar support motor and repair as necessary. See POWER SEATS in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article. After repairs have been made, perform confirmation test. See CONFIRMATION TEST .
