Power Door Lock Control System: Inspection

- Inspect driver door key lock and unlock switch continuity

If continuity is not as specified, replace the door lock motor.
- Inspect passenger's door key lock and unlock switch continuity

- Inspect rear door unlock detection switch continuity

If continuity is not as specified, replace the door lock motor.
- Inspect driver's door lock motor operation
:
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, and check that the door lock cable moves to UNLOCK position.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the door lock cable moves to LOCK position.
If operation is not as specified, replace the door lock motor.
- Inspect passenger's door lock motor operation
:
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 5 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6, and check that the door lock cable moves to UNLOCK position.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the door lock cable moves to LOCK position.
If operation is not as specified, replace the door lock motor.
- Inspect rear left side door lock motor operation
:
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, and check that the door lock cable moves to UNLOCK position.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the door lock cable moves to LOCK position.
If operation is not as specified, replace the door lock motor.
- Inspect rear right side door lock motor operation
:
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4, and check that the door lock cable moves to UNLOCK position.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the door lock cable moves to LOCK position.
If operation is not as specified, replace the door lock motor.
- Inspect back door lock motor operation
:
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4, and check that the door lock cable moves to UNLOCK position.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the door lock cable moves to LOCK position.
If operation is not as specified, replace the door lock motor.
- Inspect back door unlock detection switch continuity
