Reset Inclination Sensor

Setting

  1. Connect the connector and correctly install combination meter on a level surface.
  2. With the TRIP switch ON, turn on the ignition switch.
  3. NOTE: T1-T6 are called out in Fig 1.
  4. Turn OFF and ON the TRIP switch 2 times within 5 sec. (T1)
  5. Turn OFF the TRIP switch within 5 sec. (T2)
  6. Turn ON the TRIP switch within 5 sec. (T3) and keep it ON for another 5 sec. or more. (T4)
  7. Keeping the condition of (5) activates the setting mode. (Inclination sensor data is shown on the ODO display. See the figure below.)
  8. NOTE: If the switch is turned OFF within the 5 sec., the system returns to the normal mode.
  9. After turning OFF the TRIP switch in the setting mode, if the switch is turned on again for 5 sec. or more (T5), the reference value obtained by analog-to-digital conversion is recorded in EEPROM.
  10. NOTE: If the ignition switch is turned off during data display, the set value is not recorded.
  11. Data recorded in the EEPROM is displayed in 3 digits on the right side for 5 sec. (T6) (See Fig 1.)
