Inspection Procedure

1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
2. Check the cruise control switch using DATA LIST.

CRUISE CONTROL (ECM):

HINT

If the flag of the main CPU does not match with that of the sub CPU, the cruise control is not allowed.

While DTC is output, the cruise control is not allowed.(*1)

Condition of electric continuity inside the ECM when the main switch is operated.(*2)

1. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See page  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
2. NG: CHECK AND REPLACE ECM (See page  ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE  )
