Inspection Procedure

CHECK COURTESY LAMP
1. Check that at the door open light will be on when the driver's door is opened.
1. OK: REPLACE THEFT WARNING ECU ASSY
2. NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH
1. Connect the tester lead to the multiplex network door ECU front LH connector D17 terminal 27 and connector D19 terminal 1.
  Standard: 10-14 V

1. NG: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK WIRE HARNESS
1. Disconnect the multiplex network door ECU front LH connector D17 and the front door courtesy lamp switch connector D8 check the connector on the wire harness side.
2. Connect the tester lead to the multiplex network door ECU front LH connector D17 terminal 27 and the front door courtesy lamp switch connector terminal 1.
  Standard: 10-14 V

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY

Check the continuity between each terminal of the front door courtesy lamp switch connector.

Standard:

FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH CONNECTOR CONTINUITY CONDITIONS

Terminals	Condition	Specified condition
1 <--> Body ground	Switch not pushed-in	Continuity
1 <--> Body ground	Switch pushed-in	No continuity
