Inspection Procedure

  1. Check voltage between terminals B1, ACC, IG and GND of multi-display assembly. 
    1. Disconnect the connector from the multi-display assembly.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY B1, ACC, IG AND GND TERMINALS VOLTAGE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      B1 - GND1 Always 10 to 14 V
      ACC - GND1 Ignition SW ACC 10 to 14 V
      IG - GND1 Ignition SW ON 10 to 14 V

    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in. (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  
    2. NG 
  2. Check continuity between terminal GND1 of multi-display assembly and body ground. 
    1. Disconnect the connector from the multi-display assembly.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY GND1 TERMINAL AND BODY GROUND RESISTANCE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      GND1 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    1. OK: Repair or replace harness or connector between navigation ECU and fuse. 
    2. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector between navigation ECU and body ground.
