This function affects independent front/rear control of the damping force to achieve an optimal damping force in accordance with the bumpiness of the road surface. The suspension control ECU calculates the relative speed between the body and the wheels based on the signals received from the height control sensors and controls the actuators to maintain a flat and stable vehicle posture in various road conditions. These are independent between the front and rear wheels to stabilize the vehicle to a flat posture.
