System Operation Check
NOTE:
When ignition switch is in ON or ACC position and SRS warning light remains on or flashes, the air bag sensor assembly has detected a malfunction code. If, after about 6 seconds, SRS warning light sometimes lights up or SRS warning light lights up even when ignition switch is OFF, a short in the SRS warning light circuit can be considered likely.
Turn ignition switch to ACC or ON position. SRS warning light should come on for about 6 seconds, then go out. If air bag warning light does not operate as specified, service air bag system.
