Section 357 (Audio & Visual System): Inspection

INSPECT MAIN SWITCH ASSY

Inspect the continuity between terminal at the each switch position shown in CONTINUITY CHECK .

CONTINUITY CHECK

Switch operation	Tester connection	Specified condition
OFF	3-2	No continuity
ON	3-2	Continuity

If continuity is not as specified, replace the main switch assy.

Inspect the bulb state when connecting the battery to each terminal.

CONTINUITY CHECK

Inspection item	Battery connection	Specified condition
Indicator	Battery positive terminal - 3 Battery negative terminal - 5	Comes on
Illumination	Battery positive terminal - 4 Battery negative terminal - 1	Comes on

If operation is not as specified, check the faulty bulb.

Inspect continuity of the bulb by connecting the tester as shown.
If continuity exists, replace the main switch assy. If no continuity exists, replace the bulb.

INSPECT INVERTER RELAY

Inspect continuity between terminal at the each switch position shown in CONTINUITY CHECK .

CONTINUITY CHECK

Condition	Tester connection	Specified condition
Always	1-2	Continuity
Always	3-5	No continuity
Apply B+ between terminal 1 and 2	3-5	Continuity

If continuity is not as specified, replace the point socket relay.
