Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. Remove battery. See Figure.
  2. Remove air cleaner assembly.
  3. Remove air cleaner hose No. 1.
    4. NOTE: Sensors are available from different manufactures and are not interchangeable.
  4. Noting manufacturer, disconnect sensor connector, remove bolt and sensor.
  5. Remove and discard "O" ring from sensor.
