Inspection Procedure

Check fuses. (GAUGE, MPX-B and DOME fuse)
1. NG: Replace fuse.
2. OK: Go to Next Step.
Check voltage between terminals MPX+B and GND of combination meter connector.
PREPARATION:
1. Remove combination meter.
2. Disconnect the combination meter connector.
CHECK:

Measure voltage between terminals MPX+B and GND of combination meter connector.

OK:

Voltage: 10 - 14 V

1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
2. NG: Go to Next Step.
Check for open in harness and connector between terminal GND of combination meter and body ground (See O/D DIRECT CLUTCH SPEED SENSOR ).
1. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
2. OK: Go to next step.
  Check and repair harness and connector between combination meter and battery.
